My Experience

Post qualification I have worked in a variety of settings within the NHS/Education – health clinics, nurseries, mainstream schools and specialist units.

I developed an interest in childhood speech disorders / dyspraxia quite early on in my career as a speech and language therapist and developed my skills in this area whilst working at the Nuffield Hearing and Speech Centre’s specialist unit in West London.

I was the Speech Disorders Specialist for a local NHS Speech and Language Therapy Service for several years before setting up in full-time independent practice.

I have worked solely as an independent therapist since 2009 and keep my clinical interests up-to-date via attendance at courses, seminars, meetings with other specialist therapists, and reading current research.

I am a member of the Speech Disorders Clinical Excellence Network based in London.

I am a member of the ASLTIP South-West London/Surrey Group.
